Disclaimer: Clojure is a new hobby
Greetings!
I appreciate you reading this and would like to be very clear that I am a novice at most aspects of Clojure, including:
- The Lisp family of programming languages.
- Immutability and other core design criteria behind Clojure.
- Functional programming.
Why would I make basically a public diary of learning Clojure? Well:
- I feel guilty assembling a website and then not updating it, so its presence is an effective motivator for me.
- Constructive criticism is a wonderful thing, and you have to seek it out. The Internet offers the broadest possible audience.
- I learn best when my reach exceeds my grasp. Sometimes I don't realize when that has happened -- that's when constructive criticism saves the day.
- I find it valuable to present information in a way useful to a mainstream audience. My career and home life make becoming an expert very, very difficult.
So, all this to say please double check before taking anything I say as a best practice, but know that what I say I mean earnestly. When I'm wrong please give as much useful information as you have time for.
Thank you for reading!
